Freemora vs Immich

Immich is a strong open-source project: your own “Google Photos” on your own server. Freemora does one thing more simply: it copies phone photos and videos to your computer with no server and no setup.

When Immich is better

When Freemora is better

Use both

Yes: you can add the Freemora archive folder to Immich as a read-only external library — Freemora keeps doing the copying.

Freemora is beta software without warranty. Checks lower the risk but don’t remove it: drives fail and computers get lost. Keep important photos in at least one more place. See the Terms of use.
