Freemora vs Syncthing

Syncthing is open-source software that keeps folders in sync between devices. Freemora doesn’t sync — it copies: phone photos and videos land in an archive on your computer and stay there, whatever happens on the phone.

When Freemora is better

Use both

Yes: Syncthing for work folders between computers, Freemora for phone photos. Just don’t point both at the same folder.

Freemora is beta software without warranty. Checks lower the risk but don’t remove it: drives fail and computers get lost. Keep important photos in at least one more place. See the Terms of use.
